Ayam Taliwang

Pak Deddy and I had to go out of the office for a meeting yesterday so we had the opportunity to get more localized. As a result of the meeting, we needed something that could heat up our spirit, we wanted something real spicy... so what could be better than Ayam Taliwang?

It is not difficult to find the place. It is located on the busy Cassablanca Road before Ambassador Mall if you go east. The barbecue spot is placed in the front of the restaurant so before you enter you'll see Ayam Taliwang and Udang Bakar on the grill that are enough to make you mouth-watering... (maksudnya ngences...).

We ordered the same, Paket 3 which consists of Ayam Taliwang, Nasi Putih and Pelecing Kangkung and Es Kelapa Jeruk for drink. We were asked how we wanted the chicken cooked. Manis, Pedas Sedang, Pedas, Sangat Pedas. We know Ayam Taliwang could be soooo spicy so we tried "Pedas Sedang". When the food came, we were a little bit dissapointed on the Pelecing Kangkung because it's such a small portion. Anyway, we started eating... and.... we could not stop until both of us finished a second plate of rice.. The taste of the chicken (Ayam Taliwang) is soooo yummy, maknyus, top markotop! We paid less than Rp. 100K together. Not bad for the value of money.

This is the first time I came to this restaurant which was recommended by Anna, a friend of mine whose office is in that area. I will come back.
