Nasi Kebuli Raden Saleh

I've heard about this spot few times and it received many good reviews. So, to fulfill our desires for lamb, we went there on Friday. The restaurant is located in Jalan Raden Saleh No. 28 and it was not difficult to find. The sign board in the front is Restaurant Raden Saleh, Indonesian Muslim Restaurant.

As we entered the place, we felt back to the oldies... (asli, jadul banget restorannya). It was only us. My friends were wondering whether the food was good. We all ordered Nasi Kebuli Kambing for three and one Gulai Kambing for sharing. We wanted to order the satay also, but it was Friday's prayer time, so the waiter said no one would do the barbecue. All right then. We did not have to wait for a long time for our meals. Wow.... I enjoyed Nasi Kebuli very much. They use kambing muda so you will not be having the strong smell of goat. The meat was not overcooked but well done and tender. On the other hand, I'm not very interested in the Gulai... it was okay, not remarkable. But my friends like both. Though one of us thought that she preferred the rice in Sinbad Restaurant in Petamburan, no one argued that the meat here was the best. We would like to order the famous puding srikaya for dessert, but unfortunately they run out of it. We had to pay less than Rp 50K per person.

A perfect meal for TGIF.... Puasssssssssss..........!
