If you are familiar with Bendungan Hilir area, it is very easy to find this Padang Restaurant. To me, RM Surya is one of the best Padang Restaurant in Jakarta. What makes it different from typical Padang Restaurant is that it serves lalapan (daun singkong, buncis, terung rebus) with the yummy sambal teri. Their signature dish includes bandeng asam padeh. The price? It's not expensive at all. If you choose the air-conditioned room at the back of the restaurant, they will serve the rice with a big bowl (more than enough for everyone). But if you sit in the non-air condition, they serve the rice one plate per person. Don't know why, it's their custom, I guess.

Have you ever been to this museum? It is located across Beos Train Station in North Jakarta. Try to visit! It's cool... they have good collections of bank notes, coins, etc.
