Soto Mi Saroja

Soto Mi is a favorite food especially in Bogor and Jakarta, just like Bakso tek-tek (that is famous almost everywhere in the country). One could find Soto Mi in gerobak in the corner of the street or in the array of street vendors. For your information, Soto Mi Saroja is not in the moving gerobak. A small warung in Jalan Tondano, Pejompongan, houses its gerobak and opens from 8 am to 7 pm everyday.

On a Sunday morning just after jogging in Senayan, Atin and I wanted to have something light for breakfast. It turned out it had been a wrong choice, because one portion of Soto Mi came in a huge bowl with plenty of garnishes (risol, tomat, kentang and lots of daging) besides bihun and mi kuning. We were so full! As for the taste, I don't think it's very original; there is influence of Bakso Solo in the soup, but overall it is appetizing and mouthgasmic. Rp 15 K per portion.
