I have been to
Soto Pak Yus several times before and yesterday we decided to have this soto again for lunch to warm ourselves since it was a rainy and cool day. Arlan, my friend, informed me that the place has moved, but not far from the previous location. In fact, it moved just to
the other side of the Teuku Umar road (Menteng), in the yard of Balai Media TNI. It still keeps the same parking style, which is at the road shoulder. The new place is down-graded and less comfy because it is like a temporary tent. But, don’t ask about the taste, it is

still the same quality. You feel a great sensation when a combination of soto and rice entering your mouth. What’s so lovely, we could select which types of meat we want (
daging, kikil, babat, paru, tulang muda – I love kikil and tulang muda!) and this soto uses milk for the broth. The shallots in acar enrich the experience :) I spent about Rp 30 K, soto itself was Rp 25 K per bowl.
