Bebek Ireng Cak Baz

This time we explored Cikini area when we spotted some signs of Bebek Ireng Suroboyo Cak Baz on the side road. The place is located in Het Veranda Food Court, on the 2nd floor of Menteng Huis, Jalan Cikini Raya 2-4. I have never been to the main restaurant, which is actually in Jalan Kapten Tendean (next to TransTV building).

Just like its name, the appearance of Bebek Ireng was essentially dark. It’s either the spices that made the color or the oil that was used to fry or both:) Anyway, it was tasty and the meat was soft, easy to grasp. However, all of us still prefer bebek goreng in Warung Bebek Goreng Solo Tohjoyo, Kuningan. Remember that everything in this world is relative….. Bebek Ireng’s price is not too expensive, you’ll spend about Rp. 25-30 K for a portion of bebek goreng, rice and drink.
