It did not take a long time for the food to come. I ordered Soto Campur, which means beef and other yummy intestine. The coconut milk-based Soto was good but we all agreed that Soto Betawi Pak Yus in Jalan Teuku Umar was still the best so far. What I like best from Soto Ma’ruf is the acar timun with generous shallot (bawang merah). It is the shallot that fits very well with the soup. The beef satay was drizzled with
Slightly over Rp. 150 K was the compensation of all the food and drinks (three of us ordered two portions of steamed rice because one is not enough… well, you could guess who they were... ha ha ha).
