4 A were looking for another place to hang out on Saturday afternoon. We decided to have a taste on Bakwan Et Cetera, located in Jl. Benda no. 89 Kemang. The place was actually very nice; it's like home, but the space arrangement for smoking area disappointed us, who are all non-smokers and there were too many smokers that afternoon.Anyway, the food was very good. We ordered Bakwan Malang Porsi Kecil (actual
ly not small at all!) for each. The soup base was a bit different from other typical bakwan such as bakwan Tee Box or La Citra, this one is lighter, not so salty, but very delicious. Fish taste dominated the flavor of bakwan, excellent. Iced tea was placed in a pitcher, so unique. Small portion of Bakwan Malang costs Rp. 21.5 K, while a big one Rp. 24.5 K.

I agree. The flavour of the soup is excellent, not too heavy. I'm from Malang so I grew up eating bakso and bakwan. One thing i can say about this dish is superb! Likewise, I was quite disturbed by the smoke in the restaurant. Next time I'll look for empty space outside. It is so far THE best bakwan in town!
