Bakmi Jhon Melawai

I found this spot coincidentally when I drove to the office a bit late in the day passing Jalan Melawai Blok M and making a turn to Jalan Sampit. The place was in the corner between BNI and CIMB Niaga Bank. This noodle street vendor, also known as Bakmi Jhon Sampit Melawai, was surrounded by people and it looked crowded. That is why on a Sunday after a walking exercise, my dad and I decided to give it a try.

The noodles won our hearts. It was different from other street vendors. You just have to taste it yourself. It quickly became our favorites and my jogging friends’ too. We have a bowl of noodle almost every Sunday morning. You’d have a full breakfast with less than Rp 10 K.
