Mie Ayam Bakso Yunus

Mie Ayam Bakso Yunus has long been recognized in Tebet neighborhood. My friend, who had lived in Tebet since she was a little kid, remembers that it was not as hygienic as it is right now. The floor was just concrete that was quite dirty if raining. The place is now bigger and more spacious although it is still warung style, located in the busy corner adjacent to Pasar Tebet.

Mie and yamin (sweet-soy sauced noodle) with chicken and meatballs are the specialties. The noodle is homemade and it tastes very delicious with daun bawang as the condiment, served generously in each table. I don’t think the meatball soup is special and it’s a bit greasy but it is still okay with the noodle. The price of a bowl of noodle (and meatballs/fried dumpling) ranges between Rp. 11 K – 16 K.
