Pecel Lele Garuda

That's what we call the place, Pecel Lele Garuda. If I'm not mistaken it was used to be Pecel Lele Pak Abas, but hey, it does not make any difference. This noon, culinary gank from GSJ (Pak Deddy, Mbak Yus, Lela, Yoki, Wien) had lunch over there. We often go to this place simply because it's not far from our office. They have different kinds of food beside pecel lele: gudeg, gado-gado, rujak cingur, ayam goreng, ayam bakar, sup iga, tongseng, etc. Located in the back parking lot of Garuda Indonesia building on Merdeka Selatan Road, the warung is usually full of workers from surrounding offices. Even though it is a warung, they also have an area with air-condition, so it is quite comfy.

As usual, I ordered pecel lele (two portions as one has never been enough for me :-), a portion of rice plus urap. I felt like I wanted something sweet and cold so I had es blewah for the drink. Felt so blessed after eating. Total devastation was Rp. 25K.

Mas Igo, I am certain you will miss this food... no food like this in Qatar...
