When searching the menu, we found some unique names, for example: Tahu Hujin Tje Lie Rina, Tauge Ikan Pingin Kawin, Nasi Goreng Tujuh Samudra, Kakap Pangeran Muda, Ayam Ibu Tiri, etc. We decided to order Sup Radja Radja (sup kepiting asparagus), Tahu Hujin Tje Lie Rina (angsio tahu with ground chicken and pocai/vegetable), Kakap Naga Hijau (fried kakap with chili and tauco sauce surrounded by brokoli), Siupakchoy Kembar (siupakchoy saus tiram) and three steamed rice.
I would rate an “A” for Tahu Hujin and Kakap Naga Hijau. Outstanding. The four pieces of soft tofu went along very well with the spinach in the base, the ground chicken and the brown spicy sauce. Kakap Naga Hijau was also very delicious, only one of its kind. We paid Rp. 150 K for all the meals we had, including the Chinese tea. I would definitely come back to this vintage-decorated restaurant to try their other cuisines.
