Yamin Bakso Mang Memet

Atin and I were looking for a modest place for breakfast after Senayan exercise this morning. While driving around, we decided to try Yamin/Bakmi Bakso Mang Memet that’s located in Jalan Kyai Maja, Kebayoran Baru, across RSPP (Pertamina Hospital). When we arrived around 9 am, the place was actually still closed; the waiter said that only Bakmi was ready. We didn’t know before that they also had others in the menu, such as Batagor, Chinese Food, Juices. Well, what we wanted to have was Bakmi, so it’s fine. We ordered two Bakmi Ayam Bakso Pangsit (the “asin” version instead of “manis” or yamin). Though I wouldn’t say excellent, it’s not bad. The meatballs were good. The portion was perfect for breakfast and we paid Rp. 18.5 K per person with Teh Botol for the drink. The place opens daily from 10.30 to 20.00.

On the way home, we popped in Cosmo (bakery) in Grand Wijaya Centre. The strawberry and chocolate cakes and the cupcakes were very tempting, but the wheat bread would be enough for weekday breakfast.
