Chicken Cutlet |
This is the café where patients should definitely go. No doctors nor nurse, but the interior would make you feel that they were around, especially with the posters of the respiratory system and the digestion system as well as a sign of Surgery Room. Even the dining set was a little intimidating: the injection and the metal pallet you would normally see in the doctor’s clinic or hospital :)
Western food dominated the menu, although there were also local ones, such as Fried Rica and
Nasi Lemak. We ordered a deal dinner package for RM 31.80 that came in a huge portion and can be shared for two: mushroom soup, spring rools, chicken cutlet with french fries, ice cream for dessert and hot tea. The food was just a little bit above average, not so special. It was the environment that attracted the customers. In fact, the sign from the outside of the building,
Gurney Plaza-Penang, Clinic Cafe was eye-catching and this was the reason we decided to try. Overall, it was certainly a very fun dining experience.
