Happy New Year!! This time I would like to tell a story about a yummy Mie Ayam that is usually served in the morning for Friday breakfast in the office. My best friend Wiji Utami - her dad, Pak Supriyadi, makes a very good Mie Ayam (chicken noodle). It is well cooked, but not too soft, with the generous pieces of chicken, vegetables (sawi hijau) and scallion (daun bawang). A full portion is a lot therefore I usually ordered half portion because I don't eat too much for breakfast.

Pak Supri's noodle is famous in the area. His cart is located in
West Cempaka Putih on Jalan Cempaka Raya behind Grand Cempaka Hotel. You won't miss it if you ride Angkot no 46 Pulogadung-Senen. The noodle is for breakfast and brunch only, because he only serves from 5:30-11.30 am. Price is inexpensive, a bowl is only Rp 8K or Rp 11K with the meatball. Chicken feet (
