The name of the fried chicken itself has successfully raised my curiosity. Ayam tim goreng (fried steam chicken)? And Bu Better as the owner? After an exhausting day of touring to Lawu mountain and Grojogan Sewu waterfall, we decided to give this a try. The complete name was actually Ayam Tim Goreng "Dewi Sri" Bu Better. It was a really better taste of just regular fried chicken. For sure, local breed chicken (ayam kampung) was steamed with spices before it was fried. Sambal that was served with lalapan (raw vegetables for dipping) was also great. I could not stop after a portion of rice, had to ask for more.

There were several outlets in Solo, but we went to the one in Jalan Yosodipuro, Ruko Kota Barat, Solo. Price was okay; Rp 65K for the whole chicken with lalapan. Not bad, right? A must try if you happen to be in Solo.
